Norwegian Elopement in New York City
This wedding started at the Norwegian Seamen’s Church in Manhattan before we headed downtown through some of my favorite parts of New York City for portraits. We spent the afternoon moving through the Meatpacking District, the High Line, quiet side streets, and a few local wine bars before finishing the evening with a rooftop dinner overlooking the city.
What I’ve always loved most about photographing Norwegian weddings in New York is how naturally the experience unfolds once couples step into the city together. Instead of heavily staged portraits or strict timelines, the photographs become more about movement, atmosphere, and capturing the feeling of actually being there together in New York.
