Full-Day Wedding Photography in New York

This wedding began with an engagement session in downtown New York City before the full celebration later took place out on Long Island. Spending time together beforehand always creates a more relaxed connection on the wedding day itself, especially during portraits and the quieter moments throughout the day.

From getting ready and family portraits to the ceremony, reception, and a packed dance floor later in the evening, the entire wedding was photographed as a complete story from beginning to end. What stood out most was the energy throughout the celebration and how naturally the more emotional moments balanced with the larger atmosphere of the day itself.

As an Oslo-based photographer originally from New York City, returning home to photograph weddings there still feels personal. New York shaped so much of the way I see people, movement, and atmosphere, and that continues to influence the way I photograph weddings today.
