Editorial Portraits in New York City

New York City has always been a huge part of both my life and my photography. Growing up there shaped the way I see people, movement, energy, and storytelling, and it still influences the way I photograph portraits today.

This collection brings together a series of portraits photographed throughout New York City, featuring actors, artists, models, stylists, and people working across the creative industry. Most of these images were captured naturally on location around Manhattan and Brooklyn, focusing more on personality, atmosphere, and real interaction than heavily posed studio photography.

Although I’m now based in Oslo and work throughout Norway and internationally, New York still feels incredibly inspiring every time I return with a camera. There’s a certain pace, character, and honesty to the city that naturally shapes the way I photograph people. These portraits reflect that balance between editorial portraiture and real moments, while also capturing the energy that makes New York such an unforgettable place to work creatively.
