PHOTOGRAPHER - STORYTELLER - EXPERIENCE CREATOR
HI, I’M JOSEPH, I’M REALLY GLAD YOU’RE HERE.
(Why I do what I do)
I’m a photographer and event creator based in Oslo and New York. For over 20 years, I’ve photographed weddings, portraits, and celebrations for people who value experiences that feel as real as the moment.
The best photos aren’t about how something looked, but how it felt. My work is about creating space for that feeling — whether it’s your wedding day, a brand shoot, or an event you want people to remember.
TRUE FACTS & STRANGE (BUT USEFUL) TRAITS
I’ve been called curious, emotional, and talkative — I take that as a compliment.
Love, a perfectly poured double latte (yes, I bring my own shots for long wedding days)
Mixing a good Negroni , heavy on the gin, never on wedding days
Calm on the outside, total tornado on the inside (ADHD means I can hyperfocus, juggle details, and run three conversations in my head at once)
Airports and train rides — travel isn’t a chore, it’s part of the story
Real NYC bagels — mastered in my kitchen to keep New York close
Hosting parties since high school — including a New Year’s bash with 200+ guests, five police cars, and my parents walking in at 1 a.m.
Kindness isn’t just a smile, it’s lending someone your power bank
MY JOURNEY
I studied photography at Parsons School of Design in New York City, where I learned the craft — and, more importantly, how to see people and stories with presence.
I built my career in New York and Miami, photographing weddings, portraits, and celebrations for clients across the U.S. and Europe. When I moved to Norway, I continued my photography while launching Mitt Alt Wedding Fairs in 2017 — a fresh take on the bridal expo with iconic flagship shows at Oslo’s historic Glasmagasinet. It’s grown into one of Norway’s most recognized wedding and lifestyle platforms.
Today, I keep my photography personal and selective, while producing events and content that share the same vision: experiences that are creative, connected, and unforgettable.
Why This Work is Personal
I’m dyslexic and have ADHD — both have shaped the way I see the world, create, and connect. Since first grade, they’ve taught me to approach challenges differently, think creatively, juggle details, and connect with people in ways that feel genuine.
It’s why I notice things others might miss. It’s why I thrive in fast-moving situations yet stay grounded when it matters most. And it’s why my work — whether photographing, producing events, or collaborating with brands — is rooted in presence, understanding, and trust.
The Closing
Every project, every photograph, every event comes down to one thing — connection. I’ve spent my life bringing people together, whether in front of my lens, across a table, or on a stage. I’m here to create moments worth remembering and experiences people want to return to.
