What to Expect from Wedding Photographers and services included in our photography packages.

We Meet

Come to our house in New Jersey where we run our studio out of and have a chat. Well look at albums, portfolios and slide shows on the big TV. Here you will get the chance to see weddings images in all formats. Albums, book, small and large prints, proofbooks, slideshows and more. We want you to discover all our images in mixed formates and see what you can get from great photography. Starting with stories from e.sessions to wedding day getting ready, portrait sessions on wedding day to the last dance we will guide you through the experience of a wedding day.

We also will have the opportunity to hear about you're wedding plans: the location, the guest-count, the size of the wedding party and so forth. But more importantly, its a chance for you to answer the question, Do we want to spend the most important day of our life with this person?

Photographers and couples work together for a long time not just on the day of you're wedding. I want that process to be as seamless and comfortable for you as possible and I tap into worth of knowledge of weddings and photography to make that happen.

Once Booked

We are now a resource for any questions you may have. A world full of requests from; Shopping for the dress with family, Location scouting, We were once sent a swatch of fabric to see how the color photographed. SPecial lighting task's and all things that are part of what we know and do. Basically, we have a wealth of knowledge about weddings and vendors and we're happy to share it.

Two-Three month before the wedding we will sit down again at the studio to get down to the nitty-gritty. Well map out a timeline for the day and discuss important details such as the ins and outs of shooting in religious institutions. Its a chance for me to finalize my plans for the day and for you to get the answers to any residual questions might have.

The Wedding Day

We love to start with the getting ready pictures because this is where the story really begins. We snap away, generally unnoticed, at any detail that will be fondly remembered. The dress hanging in the widow, your shoes and jewelry for the day. Mom ironing the best mans tie or the bride in her veil and jeans, stealing a sip of champagne to calm the nerves. These moments are some of the best of the day. Friends and family all gearing up for those once in a lifetime moments. No pressure on us :)

Depending on the details of how you want you day set up we have organized the next step in different ways. Bride and Grooms who see each other before wedding or those who don't.

Depending on time line of ceremony this play a roll only when setting time for portraits with us. 1/2 hour's too 3 hour sessions of time weave enjoyed with clients as part of their big day. This time we can manage in all clever types of ways we will chat about.

The ceremony itself will be covered from as many angles as possible. Use of long lens so theres no need for me to stand right up there with you. Afterwards, once the guests are mingling, Ill ask the couple to spare me a few moments. Well get away from the crowd and take some personal photos. We find that there is such a drop of tension in Brides and Grooms at this moment which allows us to get a look or smile of you two looking at each other which is perfect!

The rest of the day and evening will be covered with candid photography.

That means I follow the action I don't direct it. I am there to document you're wedding as it naturally unfolds. Our style of photography captures the details that make the story of your day complete. All the smiles, tears hugs and kisses through out the night. These moments unfold like a child at play and always seem to bring a smile to our faces by taking the time to capture them.


After The Wedding

What you get to take home once the wedding is over, is very important to us. This is not only my pictures on display, it is also you're wedding. I believe in the old addage that there is only one chance at a first impression. With that said we back up images in two off site locations and back them up on our Macs in studio. After that your images are carefully edited picking out the best images to showcase your day. Our advanced editing system allows for rating of images along with quality control of color and b/w tones on all images.

- A wildly popular brag book. This is my personal top 100 pictures displayed in a great little 8x10 inch, soft cover book.

- An online gallery displaying all the edited pictures taken at the wedding. Images in gallery can be vetoed by you before going public. It can also be password protected. Your images your control :)

- A DVD of the whole wedding in low res, perfect for blogs, facebook, emails, iphone etc. These images have a small logo on them in hopes you are so happy with them and us you are proud to let your friends and family know who we are.

Delivery...after wedding day

No more than 4-6 weeks after you're wedding day you will receive brag book, online gallery and DVD. You use those tools to choose the shots you like. They are sent to the lab to be printed professionally and hand retouched, if necessary. You can expect the final pictures for your album within another 10 weeks.

Albums

Once you have chosen the shots for your album, the studio does a layout using the pictures youve selected. We send you a PDF file of the layout and you can request changes. We then do a second layout according to your specifications and this process continues until the album done. Once all that is done album take 6-8 weeks in production.

Custom Final Prints

In addition to all the offerings of Professional Prints, our technicians pay special attention to the main subject of images (often times the bride and groom). All Professional Final Print adjustments, plus: Blemishes, reflections, eyeglass glare, and facial shine are reduced
Removal of minor stray hairs, dodge faces to reduce uneven lighting, include overall sharpening when needed

-Images are corrected for exposure, color balanced to optimize subject's skin tones, and adjusted for contrast
-Extra adjustments are made for highlight and shadow retention
-White point and black point balanced
-Borders, toning and cropping options available
-Special Instructions (Major Retouching) options available
-Bulk Order options (25 quantity) available in 3.5x5, 4x6, 5x7, and 8x10 sizes
